I would pick a Lamborghini Huracan!
May 02, 2024,14:50 PM
The Lamborghini Huracan is about the same market price (since most Porsche dealers charge over MSRP in California) as the Lamborghini Huracan, the Huracan is mid-engined (which I prefer), the V10 in the Huracan sounds great, the Huracan is actually reliable for an exotic car - since its Audi architecture really contributes to large order quantity and thus reliability, and so on. Also, Porsche dealerships overcharge on servicing costs so much here in my area (the clientele here are unaware and easily taken) that they're equivalent to a Lamborghini maintenance.
This orange car is the "off road" equivalent to the 911 Dakar.
The one below is not quite the exact equivalent to the 911 GT3 RS, the Huracan STO model would be the more equivalent match. I'd want a Huracan "Technica" which I would consider most equivalent to a 911 GT3 Touring.

Tougher than I anticipated!

Not that I can afford either of them but being the track rat that I am I thought it would be an easier choice. To my surprise I am leaning more towards the Dakar, it's not that high in the flesh and the paint job is sweet! Obviously it would need at least...
That's what I thought too

The RS is more in line with your highly customized a110. The Dakar looks a lot better in the flesh.
Yep!

There is no bad choice

It'll be hard to keep those white wheels clean but then again the Dakar looks best covered in dirt!
Tough choice... Both are excellent

While I'm intrigued by Dakar as something a little different from Porsche, I think for the money I'd go with the GT3 RS as it's a little more special. With that said, in the real world unless I was tracking it with some heavy regularity I'd probably go wi...

Not too big, supercar soundtrack. My personal choice would be the r8 v10 spider with the 6 speed manual, sadly very few were made, I consider it the poor man's CarreraGT
OOoooo! Now you're talking!

I drove the R8 V10 with the R Tronic gearbox - didn't like the car - the steering ratio was too slow, on a moderately windy road I had to go hand over hand steering, and the suspension set up wasn't the way I liked. But I do like the idea of a manual! Ver...
